This is one of the most pleasant looking exterior spaces at the existing building. It was intended to memorialize past members and friends of the Art Center. Because of the proximity to Crenshaw Boulevard (the curb is only about 8 feet away to the left) the traffic noise makes this space anything but serene. Just visible at the center, behind the block wall, are the railings marking the steps down to the Norris Film Gallery. The rear wall of the Beckstrand Gallery is visible at right.
