Beyond taking classes or attending exhibitions, there are many ways to become involved in the Palos Verdes Art Center.
The first step is to become a member. Annual memberships are available starting at only $50 for individuals or $60 for families. Benefits include discounts on classes and in The Artists’ Studio and invitations to exhibition openings and other events.
Affiliated groups offer a number of ways to become involved. The Associates and The Circle are support groups that combine fundraising events with artful fun throughout the year. Docent Council members act as knowledgeable guides introducing visitors to the exhibitions while receiving an on-going education in the visual arts. Eight artists groups offer opportunities for artists to exhibit their work, network and learn new skills.
The Palos Verdes Art Center is a private 501 (c) 3 non-profit corporation that receives a major portion of its funding from personal, corporate and foundation gifts. Financial support is possible through the Annual Fund, an appeal each fall for general operating funds, and a Capital Campaign to raise funds to make the Art Center a more efficient and aesthetic place to help you celebrate, appreciate and create art!
