Art At Your Fingertips: Since 1976, Art At Your Fingertips has provided five annual art projects to Palos Verdes Peninsula elementary schools. These projects, featuring aesthetic valuing as well as art techniques and history, are designed by art educators and taught by trained docents. More info...

Art Patrons: Art Patrons ($500), Patron Donors ($1,000), Gold Art Patrons ($2,500) and Platinum Art Patrons ($5,000) make generous annual donations to the endowment fund. Patrons enjoy special art-related events and additional membership benefits.

Artists Open Group: The Artists Open Group is open to interested artists of any skill level. The group meets every other month for lectures and demonstrations. Members are able to exhibit in PVAC Artists exhibitions.

The Associates: : Founded in 1978, The associates is a fundraising auxiliary, which meets monthly and takes regular tours of area art venues. The Associates’ next fundraising event is “Celebrate Chefs III: An Epicurean Journey,” featuring fabulous meals by famous local chefs in fantastic Palos Verdes homes. The dates are Saturdays, July 14, 21 and 28, 2007. Tickets for individual dinners are $125 each.

The Circle: The oldest Palos Verdes Art Center fundraising group is The Circle, founded in 1975. Members meet every other month for a speaker and luncheon. The group’s next Homes Tour Extraordinaire is Friday and Saturday, April 18 and 19, 2008.

Docent Council: Members of the Docent Council, organized in 1981, staff the Beckstrand Gallery every afternoon, helping visitors understand the fine points of the exhibition. Members enjoy half-price art history classes, field trips and artist-led tours of each exhibition. More info...

PVAC Artists: This is the umbrella organization for the eight artists groups (Artists Open Group, Pacific Arts Group, Paletteers, Palos Verdes Painters, Peninsula Artists, Photographic and Digital Artists, Rembrandt Crew and Third Dimension), which are affiliated with the Palos Verdes Art Center. Members organize the Malaga Cove Lawn Art Shows (monthly from April through September) and the annual Small Treasures and PVAC Artists Holiday Exhibition.

The Artists' Studio: The Artists’ Studio is a retail sales cooperative with about 70 member artists working in various mediums. Each piece is a unique work of art. Sales galleries are located in the Palos Verdes Art Center and The Village Shopping Center. Featured artists and inventory change each month. Members present a wearable arts fashion show and luncheon twice a year.
